Market Harborough to Smeeton Westerby
Smeeton Westerby is situated 10 south of Leicester just off the A6 at Kibworth. The village is 5 miles from the picturesque market town of Market Harborough, which also has the nearest BR station. There are buses from Market Harborough to Kibworth and a limited service to Smeeton Westerby. We are only a 20 minute walk from Kibworth and we can arrange a pick up from there if required. A taxi from Harborough to Smeeton Westerby is £12-15.
Leicester to Kibworth
Travelers from Leicester can catch a bus from Leicester to Kibworth which runs every 30 -60 minutes. We are only a 20 minute walk from Kibworth and we can arrange a pick up from there if required. A taxi from Harborough to Smeeton Westerby is £12-15.
Traveling by Car
If traveling by car aim for Kibworth which is on the A6 10 miles from Leicester and 5 miles from Market Harborough. Follow signs for Kibworth Beauchamp and head for the centre of the village. If coming from Leicester you will be turn right of the A6. At the roundabout with the cherry tree turn right and first left onto the Smeeton Road at Threshers. This road is signposted Smeeton Westerby ( 1 mile ) and Saddington. Head for Smeeton Westerby and go past the church on the right. Westerby Lane is the very last road on the left just before you leave the village.
Do not turn left down Gumley Road or Pit Hill, which a lot of people do.
