Refresher Courses

We very occasionally get last minute spaces on a beginners course and these can be taken as a refresher course for £75 by anyone who has already attended a beginners course or the AWBC course. If you wish to be notified when one of these spaces become available email me at glen@digitalphotographycourses.co.uk and I'll add your name to the list.

Extra Intermediate Course added for Sunday 2nd October 2011

We have now run two Intermediate Photography Courses and they have both received tremendous feedback from students so we have added an extra course for Sunday 2nd October. This course starts with a very quick recap on the basic settings and progresses, step by step, through to some of the more technical aspects of photography. Each camera operation or photography lesson is followed by a demonstration then a practical session. This course includes about twice the hands on practical photography time of the beginner's course.

Learn to use your camera on Full Manual Control
We will be mainly using the camera on the full manual setting so you gain a really good understanding of how the various aperture and shutter speed combinations effect your picture and how to visualise the picture before you take the shot.

After the camera and outdoor practical photography sessions we review the images and offer constructive feedback. This is followed by photo-editing tutorial where we will show you how to get the very best from your your photographs.

RAW & HDR Photography Course

After the success of the last HDR and RAW course I've had people asking for another one. I have actually run out of free weekends so if anyone is interested and can attend on a week day drop me an email and we'll arrange a course.

The RAW & HDR Photography Course is split between taking photographs and editing them in Photoshop. You will require a laptop computer, with Photoshop or Photoshop Elements installed, plus a tripod and a remote release. Please contact us before booking if you lack any of these items.

This month’s project: Autumn

Autumn as arrived early this year, due to the dry spell, so his month's project is to try and get some great pictures to illustrate this. I'm looking for fields of corn, bales of hay, Autumn leaves or whatever else you can think of which can be uploaded to the DPC Facebook group.

Don't think your pictures are not up to scratch as everyone has something good to offer and we are all here to learn.
