Health & Safety
The courses take place in the little village of Smeeton Westerby in rural Leicestershire. It's a fairly quite with very little traffic but you will need to cross roads at times during the practical photography exercises so you do need to take care. The course organisors cannot be held responsible for your safety while on the public highway.
Food
A free buffet lunch is provided on most courses. This is purchased fresh and there will be a vegatarian option. If you have any allegies or special dietary requirements we reccommend you bring a packed lunch. We cannot be held responsible for illness resulting from said allegies or conditions.
Cancellations
These courses do tend to sell out quite quickly and are usually full. If you cancel up to two weeks before the course we can probably resell your place and you can have a 75% refund. If you cancel with 7 days of the course you can have a 50% refund on the condition that we can sell your space. Cancellation within 48 hours means that it is unlikely we will be able to re-allocate your space and as such no refund is available.
If you notify us in good time you can choose to transfer to another course with available spaces.
In the unlikely event we need to cancel a course you will be offered a full refund or the chance to attend another course.
The weather
We have never had to cancel a course yet due to the weather. In the unlikely event that it does rain continually we have a contingency plan to ensure you still gain a great deal from the day
Liability Limitation
We assume no liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, delay, mishap, or damage to persons or property arising from any cause during the course or in transit thereto.
As there is always an element of risk in any outdoor workshop, participants must be physically fit and capable of participating in the said workshops, and are fully and completely aware of any associated risks created by field locations and weather.
We reserve the right to change our itinerary should conditions necessitate, or to cancel any aspect of the workshop due to exceptional circumstances. We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided. In the event that we deem it necessary to cancel the workshop we will provide a full refund which the participant acknowledges as full and final settlement.
By joining our courses you acknowledge that you have read the above information concerning responsibility and release Digital Photography Courses from any liability. Digital Photography Courses will assume no liability for injury, illness, or loss of personal property or expenses thereof associated with their workshops.
